CESME BEACH

ILICA: Ilica is the largest and most popular tourism center in Cegme, with beaches two kilometers long with fine white sands, world class accommodations, and thermal springs. The hot thermal water springs in the sea, turn the Ilica beach and the neighborhood beaches into big thermal swimming pools. The hotels and B&B's of different sizes can meet the demands of masses of tourists. The most important quality that highlights the significance of Ilica are the thermal springs Even the smaller hotels and B&B's offer thermal water. Another important characteristic of the Ilica Beach is that, a coastline of around 100 meters from the shore are shallow enough for a person to walk lt has been scientifically proven that the ultraviolet rays are much more healthy in the shallow waters that are fed by the thermal springs. Additionally, these beaches are also safe for children and offer them innumerable playgrounds. The biggest hotel of Ilica is located right next to the Ilica beach. This recreation area is licensed by the Ministry of Tourism.

BOYALIK BAY: This bay has beautiful beaches that are 5 kilometers long. It has all the characteristics of the Ilica Beach, and is one of the most rapidly developing tourism areas of the region. At the junction where the Kalem Cape, located in the center of the bay meets the fand, the ALTIN YUNUS HOLIDAY COMPLEX and MARINA is erected. ALTIN YUNUS used to be the biggest and most luxurious accommodation facility in Turkey when it was first constructed. At the tip of this bay is the AYA YORGI Beach, which has the calmest sea in the entire Çeşme region, due to its location that is sheltered from all the northern winds. With its restaurants and camping sites, this beach offers a truly relaxing and tranquil atmosphere.

ŞIFNE -BÜYÜK LIMAN-PASA LIMANI: Taking the Ilica Beach as the center, the coastline in the northeast direction towards Şifne, is also a tourism center, with very attractive beaches and thermal springs. On the coastline, Büyük Liman and the Pasa, Bays, are the areas where the camping sites and the housing sites are concentrated. Şifne is a center renown for its hot springs, and has very clean and orderly B&B facilities. Access to this important tourism center that is 5 km away from the Ilica center.

ILDIRI: Ildin village and its environs, where ancient city of Erythrai used to be, is a very interesting place for campers with its natura) beaches and camp sites. This area, with its abundant historical and natural riches, is 22 km from the Çeşme town and 15 km from Ilica. Access to the are is through a stabilized road from Şifne.

CIFTLIKKÖY and PIRLANTA BEACH: They are respectively located an the south and southwest of the Çeşme district center The best known beaches in this region are PIRLANTA-TURSiTE and ALTINKUM beaches. The area has enough motels and B&B's to accommodate the visitors. There are also convenient camping sites in the region. These beaches are sheltered from the northern winds that predominate the Çeşme peninsula, are about 10 km away from the Çeşme town center.

OVACIK CATALAZMAK BEACH: Access to this beach is via the Çeşme town center. This beach, which is located in the Güvercinlik Area that is 5 km to the south of the town center, is full of pebbles of all sizes and colors and has travertine formations that resemble Pamukkale, There are also several caves near the beach that are immersed in the sea.

ESEK ADASI: Known in the older days as "GONI", Esek Adasi (Donkey Island) is an island that can only be accessed by yachts, and is at a distance of one hour. It is an ideal place for daytime yacht cruises with its unspoiled bays and hospitable donkeys. The island is sheltered from the northern breezes and is ideal for snorkeling and diving. The landscape of the island is covered with wild plantation ubiquitous of the Mediterranean landscape and has a wind operated fresh water well for the survival of the donkeys an the island. If you visit this place in spring, you will be intoxicated with the fragrance of the wild narcissus, broom flowers and thyme.
